Which do we prefer?
a. The most dangerous man alive, the location of whom is unknown, eluded the cops on more than three occasions in the past four weeks.
b. The most dangerous man alive, whose location is unknown, eluded the cops on more than three occasions in the past four weeks.
c. The most dangerous man alive, still missing, eluded the cops on more than three occasions in the past four weeks.
And what if I changed 'alive' to 'in America'? Which would you prefer then?
