Reading a book is one of the most important and beautiful things in human life.If I had been alone in the Pacific I would have brought with me a book called "My Neighbor Totoro" inspired by the film of a Japanese called Hayao Miyasaky. This book could have helped me in this sotuation.

Firstly,this is a fantasy book and I really love fantasy books or films. This book tells the story of two young daughters of a professor and their interactions with friendly wood spirits. The most important spirit is Totoro, it is a strange animal like a big,fat and smart cat. Totoro in the book but also in the film is always ready to give an help, it is the animal that resolve every problem of these two young girls.

Secondly,I want to explain why I would bring with me this book. I love fantasy because it is a way to fly with imagination and in this situation,try to imagine a different world in which all is perfect and where there are wood spirits that could help you is perfect. In this circumstance surely reading this book I would have imagined that Totoro would arrive to help me.

To sum up, the most beautiful things of this book are the descriptions of the characters. They are described like living animals and then they are soo cute. I'm sure that this book would help me to spend time waiting for rescue. Furthermore I think that is a book that teaches you one of the most important thnigs in life."HOPE" . In this book there is a lesson for life: we must not stop to hope and belive in something better because there is always someone that will help us in case we need help.
