Essay & Composition Writing

Writing response to a post.

I agree that we can’t standardize the abilities of all students since the talent vary from person to person. I liked reading your stories as a middle school student and appreciate the school district regarding supporting students under any difficult circumstances. Students don't need to study beyond what they need to know for the standard test, but that means they need to rebuild the knowledge somewhere on upper level because they are missing a lot of concrete information that play role in supporting them to go further. That happens to my hometown too, where the ability of students is always tested by exams, to get into high schools and universities. Students are forced to do math every day to pass the exam. They end up knowing nothing about geography, history or any other art subjects. I believe teaching transferable skills and art can improve coping with difficult situations in real life and encourage their creativity. Also, it is sad to hear about Corridor of shame. Any children from whatever regions deserve a sufficient education. Their school need to have up-to-date textbooks, strong facilities and qualified teachers. I like your idea and think everyone will be willing to share their tax to fund the schools so that students in rural area can receive a better education.
