Writing: People living in the 21st century have a better quality of life than the previous centuries. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is believed that thesedays people tend to enjoy a better life than those in the past. From my perspectives, I partly agree with this statement.

To begin with, it is true that some shortcomings in modern life challenge them to living healthily and positively. The first factor is contaminated environment leading to numerous serious diseases. Admittedly, with the growth of industrialiazation, most factories dismiss a great deal of carbon dioxide, which pollutes the pure air. Another reason is the high pressure from work that seems to have a detrimental impact on humans’s mental beings. Strict managers, for instance, are likely to force their subordinate officers to work harder. As a result, they have a tendency to have stressful time at workplace and still keep doing at home.

Neverthless, by and large, the living condition of human beings have thrived tremendously in terms of Health care, education and civilization . First of all, scientists are able to discover more medicine for treating illnesses and the facilities in hospital are becoming increasingly effective. Thus, residents could stand a good chance to have better service. Secondly, it is widely accepted that the number of literates is much more than it in the previous centuries. In general, a plenty of citizens have opportunity to access to education due to the elimination of gender inequality. Finally, it is likely that life seems more convenient and amusing because of countless kinds of entertainment. To take a cinema or music festival as an example, after a busy day, they can relax there and keep stress away.

In conclusion, I believe that modern life awards humans a much more enjoyable life in different aspects. However, they should take solutions to environmental problems and mental beings in their account to flourish living standard.
