Writing part 2 ielts

Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such a situation. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

It is argued that people should accept the reality that their work is unsatisfactory and low-paid. However , some believe that the best solution in this situation is to make improvements. Personally, I am leaning more towards the second one.

One the one hand, it is understandable that when confronting bad work conditions, people have the tendency to accept and to live with it. The reason for that is because even employees can not find fulfillment in the workplace or the salary is not enough, they still have to stay in that position in order to make ends meet as it is challenging to find another job nowadays. For example, a 50-year-old father who has worked in the financing field for more than 20 years cannot quit the job even if it brings him bored to death as he is the breadwinner of the family.

On the other hand, I believe that there are many people who try their best to improve the situation. They can do it in both ways. The first is that they could try to love the job from the first start by changing their mindsets. The second is that they could spend their leisure time learning something new which they find passionate about as it helps them to have additional income. And then, when it comes to a suitable moment, people can quit the tedious job and chase the dream.

In conclusion, it seems to me that when people lack satisfaction at work, instead of doing nothing but to accept it, they could do many things to reach their fulfillment and improve their condition.
