Writing "mini"

I have a doubt, in this line (from a video) if I were to write something like that, one should write "mini" using a ---? so mini-course, mini-marketing course?

I'm hosting a 12 day mini course, a mini marketing course

But I'm not sure what you mean by a mini-course
