Writing Inglish

I have been in the States for 23 years. I work in an office. Most of the time I type from other people writting. My problem is when I need to write something I hesitate and I become very nervous. Please help me - How can I get better at writting Inglish. I know my grammar is not good. I am trying to read also to improve my inglish. Thank you for your response.

  • For inspiration: Find something that inspires you to express it freely As far as confidance goes: Either develop your own style and make it easily relatable to others (to have confidance in your work it MUST be able to touch others!

A trick to avoid hesitation and nervousness would be these two things: Inspiration and confidance. With office work I don't think you will find much opportunity to let your individual style blossom (Well depends where you work!). So maybe you should write something in your spare time?

That is definately true. When I was younger I had an Idea a minute... now I'm lucky if I get 1 a month. Of course it gives me more of an inclination to work on the few I do have though. hehe allthough I still find even that hard *please read my ***

I think you have a positive attitude towards communicating. I agree that trying to express your thoughts and emotions is sometimes difficult even in your own language but I would also remark that trying to communicate them to someone who understands you is one of the best ways to improve your writing. I am sure you'll gain confidence easily. I really liked reading your post. keep on writing. Chee
