Writing in a Holistic Scale

Hi,

In assessing one's writing, if you see these words in the Holistic Scale, would you be wondering what it is saying? Would the use of 'elaborations' be odd? Do you always put a period after each one? When you have the word 'little' in front of 'sense', does it mean 'small' with no positive or negative polarity perspectives(?) in place?

Scale 5: Possible digressions or elaborations confusing.
Scale 2: Typically little sense of beginnings or endings.

Sorry another question: Why does it have a singular verb?
