The figure given shows the changing of access to new technology patterns in households in the UK from 1994 and 14 years later.

Clearly, All 4 line graphs followed a very similar upward trend. Although, each one has its start points.

In 1994 the only technology used by people was CD players that have a steady rise from approximately 50 percent in the beginning to around 90 percent in 2004 and then leveling off for the last four years. Although the trend for mobile access slightly fluctuated in the first years, both mobile and internet usage rose from somewhere in the vicinity of 20 percent to less than 80 and 70 percent in 2008, respectively.

Even though DVD players appeared later than the others in 2002, it is ascended enormously and surpassing internet and mobile accessibility very soon. In 2007 DVD player domestic usage overtook CD player and rose to a peak of 90 percent. So DVD players became primary technology with the best access in homes in the UK in 2008.
