Some people think students should study the science of food and how to prepare it. Others think students should spend time on other important subjects. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

My essay:

Some people believe that students should learn food science and the way to prepare it, while some think students should spend time on other crucial subjects. I will discuss both views and state my opinion.

On the one hand, studying food science and the way to prepare offer students lots of benefits. Initially, thanks to learning the science of food, students now have a chance to widen their horizons about some nutrition value of each vegetable like tomato and cabbage. For instance, students may know that tomatoes will help them to have better eyesight than now. Therefore, the students' health will be good enough to overcome some deadlines that their teachers assign to them or pass the final examinations with flying colors. Additionally, students will cultivate their soft skills, especially culinary skills such as dish-ornamental skills and food-marinating skills. Consequently, they will know how to cook delicious foods for their children in the future when they got married.

On the other hand, in some situations, I believe that there is no need to learn about cooking and nutrition. First of all, when students go to university, studying their major is the most ever crucial compared to other activities. Instead of wasting time learning about food, students should focus on core subjects such as English. Moreover, there are plenty of food stores along to streets from luxurious to affordable prices. Therefore, students possibly purchase this food there to use and taste without wasting their time learning food recipes and food science
