0I hope I haven't mistaken the genre - can I say Free composition when you have no strict rules and just write a text where you define the structure? The title is also my idea 05002br02br00Please, correct ANY and EVERY mistake you notice, no matter what it s - grammatical, structural, an error in word choice, or propose a way to tell something in a better way. I accept all kinds of criticism; there isn't a purpose for not doing so - I'm not a native speaker; I could even say that even in my own language I make mistakes sometimes. Hi everybody, this is my first appear in this website. Actually I interested in learning English, so I started to develop my writing. I wrote a recipe and I need you to correct my mistakes.

Recipe to make a delicious a spicy oven fish with vegetables

1- Bring a good fish and cut it to slides.

2- Mix it with some pepper and salt.

3- Mix together some yogurt with some chili until they became soft liquid sauce.

4- Chop some vegetables together depends on your taste such as a capsicum, tomatoes, onions, potatoes and lemon.

5- Add some oil in a pot.

6- Put the fish at the bottom, and then add the vegetables above the fish.

7- Pour the yogurt sauce into the vegetables to come through the fish.

8- Cover the pot well with a tin.

9- Put the pot in the oven for 45 minutes.

10- As soon as the pot inside the oven, put some tamarind into a small pot with hot water until it becomes liquid sauce.

11- Chop some garlic and mix them with some pepper, salt and citric acid then put them in the fridge to become cold.

12- After the fish ready put it in a dish and chop some parsley in front.

13- Now you can have the delicious spicy oven fish with vegetables.

FOJHi everybody, this is my first appear in this website. Actually I interested in learning English, so I started to develop my writing. I wrote a recipe and I need you to correct my mistakes.

Recipe to make a delicious spicy oven-baked fish dish with vegetables

1- Bring a good fish and cut it to slides. What kind of fish? You must be more specific about the type. How much fish? It is important to know. Does it need skinning and/or scaling?

2- Mix it with some pepper and salt. "Season it with salt and pepper"

3- Mix together some yogurt with some chili ~~until they became soft liquid sauce~~ until combined. How much yoghourt? How much chilli? Is the chilli powdered or chopped? Doesit need to be de-seeded ?

4- Chop some vegetables together. The choice of vegetable depends on your taste but can include peppers [red?green?] such as a capsicum, tomatoes, onions, potatoes and lemon Not a vegetable..

5- Add some oil in a pot. "Pour some oil into a pan" How much oil? Does it need to be heated before the fish is added?

6- Put the fish ~~at the bottom~~ in the pan, and then add the vegetables above the fish.

7- Pour the yogurt sauce ~~into~~ over the vegetables ~~to come through~~ and the fish.

11- Chop some garlic and mix ~~them~~ it with some pepper, salt and ~~citric acid~~ lemon/lime juice, then put it in the fridge to become cold. When is this used? Is it put over the fish or served separately?

Writing recipes is a skilled business. It is absolutely vital that you say precisely what type of ingredients are needed, the quantities, the temperatures at which the dish is cooked, the length of time it is cooked for.

1- Bring a white skinny fish weight 1500 kg, and then cut it to slides.

2- Season it with salt and pepper. (Quantities depends on your taste)

3-put 200 kg of tamarind into hot water in a small pan and simmer it then as soon as it becomes liquefied add some salt and lime juice and mix it together.

4-chop one piece of capsicum , two pieces of tomatoes ,two pieces of onion ,one piece of potato and one piece of carrot to equal slides.

5-pour 50 kg of olive oil into a pan without heating then adds the fish into the pan and then adds also the vegetables.

6-Pour the liquefied tamarind over the fish and the vegetables.

7-put the pan covered into the oven at 180 degree temperature for 40 minutes.

8-after the fish is cooked, turn it onto a dish and sprinkle with chopped parsley.

9- Serve it with rich or some bread if you like.

Writing is the art of capturing thoughts and placing them where anyone who can read can see them.

At its best, writing lets us examine our own thoughts. If we're honest enough with ourselves, we can even try to change how we think and what we think after reading our thoughts - because none of us are perfect.

Historians and journalists write down accounts of what other people did. If they're honest, what they write is close to what those people actually did. Unfortunately for us all, this doesn't always happen.

Matt Taibbi, in the introduction to his online book "Hate, Inc.". https://taibbi.substack.com/p/introduction-the-fairway exposes what modern news media have become - "siloed" areas where we can retreat to have our thoughts endorsed by others and come away satisfied with our own rightness. Fox News is often justly accused of this by people outside its particular silo, but almost every other popular news outlet is also an intellectual silo where readers and audiences can go, not to see or read news, but to have their prejudices affirmed. This is the opposite of what journalism ought to be.

Likewise, popular accounts of history can also be corrupting to the mind.

For example, John F. Kennedy's most forgiving and least competent, but most popular biographer, Doris Kearns Goodwin, seems to have started with her initial opinion of that President and striven to assemble statements, some of them which we can't call "facts" because she cites no clear evidence they are true, and some of which are facts she read about in other people's books and placed in her own without telling us who brought them to her attention.

Goodwin creates an idyllic picture of a very fallible and not entirely pleasant man who was gifted with good looks, family wealth, and many admirers, to the extent his admirers put him in charge of the world's most powerful country. During the Kennedy administration, the world came as close to global thermonuclear war than it has ever been. No one, not even Donald Trump, has brought the human race that close to mass extinction.

But Doris Kearns Goodwin appears on television to tell us how nice American history would have been had Kennedy lived out his term and the one she assures us he would have been re-elected to. Her view of history and what history might have been had JFK not died tragically in November 1963, the "Camelot Uninterrupted" one, is such a narcotic meme that the National Lampoon once devoted an entire issue to making fun ot it.

If you had never heard of John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Doris Kearns Goodwin's accounts of his life leave you more ignorant about who he really was and what he really did than you were before you read them.

We all, unfortunately. have at least a little Doris Kearns Goodwin in us. And, unfortunately, the better we write, the more we can mask the fact that the ideas in our writing are just not true. We can write clean, pleasant-to-read things that mislead not only their readers, but those of us who wrote them into believing what is not so.

Writing is a noble profession. But it is also full of the danger that what we write can mislead ourselves and others.
