Writing full name

Hello

I would like to know what is the correct way of writing my full name for official use in America.

My first name: Mohammed

My father's name: Taher

My last (family) name: Al-Ali

And if I want to abbreviate it, what is the correct way? i.e. which names could be replaced by the fist letter. For example; T. instead of Taher.

So in short, How should I wite my name in American way, and how is it abbreviated?

Thanks in advance.

For the official rendering of our names in America, the father's given name has nothing to do with it. Your offical rendering would be Mohammed Al-Ali.

If it is customary in your country for your father's name to be written as what we would call in English speaking countries your middle name, then your official name would be:

Mohammed Taher Al-Ali

You could also use Mohammed T. Al-Ali. Initials are often used for middle names.
