1. Does it makes sense to you to wear the uniform ceremonies? Why or why not? (Give reasons, try to convince each other)

Most schools require students to put on a uniform when they at school. I believe that the principals have their own reasons to do that. However, I also concur that children could dress down in casual clothes at school on some special days.

Wearing a smart uniform will help them to look more professional. A uniform is also a symbol of the school. There would be less discrimination. For example, some people may judge you because of your clothes are not fashionable. Another reason is that when we have uniforms, we could spend less money on other clothes due to we wear uniforms almost every day. Like instead of going shopping to buy clothes every month, we just have to purchase clothes twice a year.

On the other hand, some students don't like to wear uniforms. They think that uniforms are old fashion. In fact, wearing the same clothes every day is boring. Also, if students are allowed to dress down in casual clothes, they might probably feel more comfortable. In addition, some of them say that they want to wear fashionable clothes in some occasions. For instance, on the opening ceremony, they could dress suits or dress, not uniforms.

In my opinion, wearing the uniforms has many benefits, so we need to keep doing this. Nevertheless, schools should allow students to wear what they like in one or two days of the week.

2. You know Lady Gaga's song: "Fashion" Do you agree with the statement in the song: "You are who you wear?" Why or why not?

There is a statement in Lady Gaga's song "Fashion": "You are who you wear?". I concur with this statement. However, in some case, it is not right at all.

Clothes that we put on are really showing our personalities. It's because of the colors and clothing designs. For example, when we see a woman dressed up in famous brand clothes, we may think she is rich. Moreover, a person who dress in a simple way is often kind and humble. Another example is that people who often wear black clothes usually are introverts.

On the other hand, sometimes this is not true. We cannot judge a person through clothes. For instance, a crime made up for a nice suit and he looks better. In these cases, we cannot say that someone is who it wears.

In my view, dressing only shows someone's personalities through a small part.

3. Do you know some teachers in the school who like to dress formally? Why do they prefer formal to casual?

Some teachers in the school prefer dress formally to casually. There are a number of good reasons for doing this.

First of all, they like dressing formal clothes because they believe that this can make them look smarter and professional. Perhaps they feel more comfortable and more confident when dress formally than casually. Then, they could do well in a good mood. Some teachers says that if they dress down, students may don't like it. For more information, some schools in Vietnam require teachers to dress 'ao dai' (a traditional Vietnamese clothes). And this will help them be more attractive.

In conclusion, dressing formally in school is essential. Every teacher should wear professional clothes./data/user/0/com.samsung.android.app.notes/files/clipdata/clipdata_190716_203542_395.sdoc->
