Hi. Please help. Let us pretend that I am trying to write an instruction to the worksheet that has a number of pictures with missing items/parts. For example, there would be a chair with two missing legs or a mug without a handle. Which could be the a correct instruction to have students write sentences describing the missing items? A sample response for the mug would be "It doesn't have an handle."
1. Please write sentences indicating parts missing.
2. Please write sentences indicating the parts missing.
3. Please write the sentences indicating parts missing.
4. Please write the sentences indicating the part or parts missing.
5. Please write sentences telling (indicating?) the missing item or items.
6. Tell us what item or items are missing. -- I think using the word "tell" for a writing worksheet task would make the sentence awkward.

Hi, All these seem awkward or wrong to me. I suggest - Things are missing in each picture. Write a sentence about it, for each picture.
