writing about the future

Hi,

Lets say I'm writing about the future. Which is correct/most common/most acceptable and (if you can explain) why? I'm only interested in the capitalized area. Or, is there a better way of expressing what I'm trying to say here?

1. I'm sure the cake WILL BE EATEN by the time I come home.
2. I'm sure the cake WOULD HAVE BEEN EATEN by the time I come home.
3. I'm sure the cake WOULD BE EATEN by the time I come home.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I think this is better : I am sure that the cake will have been eaten by the time I come back home . Future perfect is used to indicate the completion of an action by a certain future time . Would is normally used for a future reference in past tense.
