Writing about kinds of waste and the water cycle
Hey dudes,
I´m a german student and I´m still writing some texts for my final exam for getting my graduation from high school.
I must write with british vocabulary and grammar... ( I don´t like Oxford English... )
It would be great, when some of you read my texts and correct them, if there is any mistake.

Okay there we are, here are my texts:
Waste:
The four main categories of waste are recyclable waste, bio-degradable waste, non-degradable waste and special waste. Recyclable waste can be collected, reprocessed and used again. Bio-degradable waste is made of natural material that, in time, simply rots away. Non-degradable waste doesn't rot. It is disposed of by incineration, in landfill sites or at sea. Special waste is toxic and must be disposed of separately.
The consumers can do many different things to produce lower non-degradable waste. Nobody should buy products with to much outer packaging, if there are some without it. Additional everybody should buy his food fresh and without packaging, for example bread, fruit, vegetables.
The industry and the producers must change their packaging. They should use instead toxic plastic economical sorts of plastic and paper. Additional there are many products which are packed in tiny portions. The industry should pack them in bigger packages to reduce the waste.

The water cycle
The sun gives the energy to the water cycle. In other words, it heats the water in the seas and oceans. Because of that the water evaporates as water vapor into the air. Next rising air currents take the vapor up into the atmosphere. There are cooler temperatures, why the water vapor condeses with dust into clouds. The air currents move them around the globe. Meanwhile the clouds are growing untill the water falls out of the sky as precipitation. There are many kinds of precipitation, depending by the temperature. For example rain, snow, hail. There are several ways for the precipitation to get back into the seas and oceans. As surface runoff it flows over the ground, as ground water it flows through the soil or replenishes aquifers. Maybe it is frozen as ice caps or glaciers. But over time the water returns to the ocean, where our water cycle started.

Here are some improvments, obviously not all the mistakes but the easy to trace ones. -Additionally, food like bread, fruit and vegetables should be bought fresh and not packed. (The sentence in active voice seems to be a little clumsy) The industry and the producers must change the way the food is packed.
