Hi,
I'm writing my motivation letter right now and I'm a bit unsure if one of my sentences makes sense gramatically.
The sentence goes something like: "I have been involved in (some job), where I was responsible for (something)."
I wanted to emphasize that my involvement in the job is ongoing, but I don't know whether it is correct to mix present perfect and simple past like that. Do you think it is grammatically correct to do so? If not, do you have suggestions on how to change the sentence?
Being "involved in a job" is very unclear. Are you doing the job, supervising the people doing the job, advising the people who are doing it, or working in a very minor (supporting) role? If I were you, I would not use such ambiguous language.
