Writing a letter to multiple doctors

How do you address a letter to multiple doctors?
Would you say, "Dear Doctors Smith and Jones" or "Dear Dr. Smith and Dr. Jones" or is there another way?

Top answer

Hi Guest, Well, I think both your ideas are OK, but I would just say 'Dear Sirs'. I've never even written to one doctor! Clive

Thanks Clive. What if the two doctors are doing the invitation, for example, Doctor Smith and Doctor Jones OR Doctors Smith and Jones wish to invite / seek the pleasure of your company on the occasion of the Opening of their Clinic?
