Writing a letter to introduce myself

hello all

i have to write a letter to introdue my self to one of my mum's colleque's cousin. It is about helping me in finding a job or suggesting me the right ways. can some one assist me in writing such a letter.

am quite away from all this formal stuff n really dont have a clue what i should include or write. can anyone please suggest.
