Writing a letter to friend

Is this OK: Yah, I know, but I don’t want to get involved. What’s the divorce have to do with me? I already told her if she needs a place to stay or someone to talk to, she’s more than welcome to stay with me and I’m always willing to listen. Honestly, when she first contacted me, I thought it was because he had domestically abused her and that was more of a concern to me, because no man should hit a woman.
