Writing a letter

Hello everyone,

I am planning to write some introductory emails to my college's Alumni. I am bit short of content and my english is not that good...
Can you help me out with the points to be included and their composition..

PS: This is my first post in this forum...and would like to see how much this community is active..Emotion: big smile

Extremely sorry for not explaining the reason behind emails...I am planning to know my alumnis on a personal level...extending my network tht kind of thing...So a mail that sets up a warm and cordial relationship should be fine...One aspect that i am planning to include in the mail is to know more about their companies they are working in, work culture, job responsibilities
