Writing a Compare Contrast Essay

Hello, I am currently writing a compare/contrast essay and I am having trouble with the paragraphs. I was wondering if I should make a new paragraph at every new topic or if i should just stick to one paragraph for the intro, one paragraph for the comparison topics, one paragraph for the contrast topics, and a conclusion? I don't know if that makes sense but i haven't written a paper in so long that I am confused. Please help Emotion: smile

Hello, shrtgrn - and welcome to English Forums. Your question makes sense, but it is difficult to offer advice without seeing the essay draft: essay length, detail and complexity will do much to determine how it is organized and how many paragraphs you'll need. Your 4-paragraph scheme is the minimum required.
