Most people associate mess with clean-freak wife, not necessarily an emasculating or a controlling one.

He should sing "My Aim Is True" and pee in the sink, just to show her who's the boss (but being emasculated, he'd quietly hum the song after closing and locking the door... while she's at work).

Because sometimes you can get drops on the rim of the bowl, and because, especially with a strong stream, you have airborn micro-droplets that end up on the floor around the bowl, on the nearby wall, on the back of the raised seat, etc. Not a problem when you clean regularly, but if your wife reads this you'll be peeing sitting down as

You can make it work if you do a lead in with some remark from her as he's on his way to the bathroom.
