Hi there! I extend a friendly greeting to all. My full name is Tran Thi Phuong Anh. I'm a volunteer of 05/12 Branch. Today, I'm very excited to tell you about “Why should we donate blood?”
"A drop of blood that gives – A life that stays'', through which we can see the great role of this deeply humane act. So, it must be recognized and contributed to this action to thrive in the community. A blood donation occurs when a person voluntarily has blood drawn and used for transfusions or made into biopharmaceutical medications by a process called fractionation separation of whole blood components. Donation may be of whole blood, or of specific components directly. Blood banks often participate in the collection process as well as the procedures that follow it.
Donating blood has many advantages. First, it helps blood donors have interesting psychological and spiritual experiences. This action can save up to 3 lives. The blood you donate is separated into several components according to the needs of the patient. Imagine an accident happens and you lose a large amount of blood that can endanger your own life. How precious it is that the bottles of blood that have been passed on to your life have just narrowly slipped away. Imagine that accident didn't happen to you, but to someone else. How wonderful it is to know that a certain amount of your blood has contributed to saving a human life. Second, we get free health check and it helps warn and detect health risks to take timely measures. For regular blood donors, donating blood will help them monitor their own health. In addition, donating blood also helps reduce iron overload in the body thereby helping to reduce the risk of stroke, cardiovascular and cancer. Finally, after donating blood, you will hold a brilliant piece of paper recognizing your precious contribution to society. It is a blood donation certificate. And you can receive various gifts such as teddy bears, money, a snack like milk, cake, and so on. In addition to the honorable value, the blood donation certificate is valid for blood reimbursement, the maximum amount of blood reimbursed is equal to the amount of blood donated by the donor. This certificate is valid in hospitals and public health facilities nationwide.
With the message:"Donating blood to save lives - a noble gesture", please donate your blood because someone, somewhere still needs your help.
