The line graph compares the three means in terms of the amount of enquiries sent to Tourist Information Office in one particular city during the first half of year 2011. The means are in person, by letter/email or by telephone.

Overall, the number of in person and by telephone increased significantly whereas there was a major decline for the quantity of enquiries sent by letter or email.

In January 2011, a total of about 2000 enquiries were received by the office, with telephone accounting for the largest amount ( at 900 units) and in person the smallest (around 400). In February, the number for former started to decrease prior to recovering and experiencing a static phase at 1000 until the fourth month of the year, followed by a continuing rise to 1600 in June. By contrast, that in person increased significantly, overtaking both by letter or email in February and by telephone in the March to become the most common means, at around 1900 in June. Regarding letter or email enquiries, starting at below 800 enquiries in January, the second common option, there was a noticeable decline before reaching the lowest point at under 400 enquiries.
