Analysis of visual elements and features in Varageh and Golshah paintings by offering a sample

Seljuk period is one of the most important periods in the history of Iranian art and artistic, and literary works of this period are important in every way. Varageh and Golshah are the literary epopees of this age, including a visual image with unique features, which is to be distinguished from other paintings.
This thesis with respect to its main objective, which is to analysis the elements and specifications of the two mentioned paintings, has analyzed the issue with the intuitive and visual approach, then with the inspiration of these painting’s visual features, it has been proceeded to design and create a new artwork.

According to the statistical society and the classification of Varageh and Golshah paintings which contain two groups and four subgroups, it has been analyzed one image of each subgroup. The result of these analysis indicates that features such as horizontal cadres, the compositions (centralized and decentralized), how to use the elements (human, animals, architecture, plants and decorative), how to use the color (with a focus on warm colors and create color contrasts with cold and gray colors), and... , are obtained.
According to this information and the accessible features, it has been set to create conceptual artwork with regard to contemporary structures and preservation of the originality of the paintings.
