Writing

Hello everybody, I don´t know if this page is still working but I have a doubt and I do appreciate some help. When you write a letter to an Editor, is it ok to write: " I am writing to express my opinion about "Teachers´ evaluation" published on Monday 27th." ?
Thanks in advance Emotion: smile
