Writing

The colours of the sky on the earth and the sky on the moon are blue and black.
Is this sentence correct?I am confused with the meaning of it.

It's quite clumsy. The sky looks blue on earth, but it looks black on the moon. on the earth ~ if you are standing on the earth on the moon ~ if you are standing on the moon CJ

on the earth ~ if you are standing on the earth
on the moon ~ if you are standing on the moon

They are fine, but I'd use 'from' rather than 'on'.
