Essay & Composition Writing

Writing 1 - please correct it - Education should be free or not?

Stepping into 21st century, with the development of education, people have different views about education fee. While some argue that it would be better if education should be free, the others think that students have to pay school fee. In this essay, I will discuss both sides of the issue.

On the one hand, there is a big opportunity to develop economy of a country. Firstly, people are able to access to education. This will lead to decrease illiteracy rate, crime rate and unemployment rate. Secondly, with globalization era, countries with a lot of educated people tend to lead to innovation of the world. For example, in German, you can study higher education without tuition fee; And Germany is always the top nation in technology around the world. Finally, Individuals from poor families is likely to shake off the poor. When they graduate from higher education, they easy get stable jobs with high income.

On the other hand, both school and government are able to face to financial problems. First of all, the government will release some budgets for school or university to free school fee for students. Hence, budget deficit would be a difficult issue for government. Besides that, school expenditures depend completely on fixed investments, which is extremely hard to balance between finance and quality of education. University, for instant, want to investigate for modern facilities, but they cannot because of not enough money for it.

In conclusion, education fee is a difficult decision of the educators. In my opinion, I think that it depends on basis education or higher education. Government should be pay for basic education and individuals, on the contrary, have to investigate by themselves for further education.
