Hi my EnglishForward friends,
Please are there any news concerning this strike? Is Hollywood writers strike finally coming to an end ?? For example, I can't imagine that I'll be without season 7 of 24. I have been looking forward to the new season almost the whole of the previous year...:-(((. But on the other side I understand, why they're striking. Most of these people are producing excellent TV Shows, like CSI, Greys Anatomy but despite of this fact they're being terribly paid. In my opinion Hollywood writers belongs to the most underestimated people in show bussiness and it's really about time to do something with it. But I really hope that strike will not be continuing too long...

Terribly paid?.. Well, I don't know how much they earn but I would never think people from HollyWood may ever be displeased with their salaries... Perhaps it's like usual: those who are generally on the screen get extraordinary high incomes while those whose work is less visible get less incomes respectively.

Just imagine how would you feel when the main star of your movie would take 20 million$ and your salary would be just something around 1 milion $? ****, writers are the brains behind everything!
