Hi,
1) I heard a writer talking about writer's block in an interview, but he said something that didn't sound good to my ear.
"I was in the first stage of writing and I was already experiencing the writer's block."
Shouldn't it be without 'the'?
2) I know that something can be funny to someone. I was just wondering if 'for' is also an option.
"The whole situation started off as being awkward but eventually became funny for everyone."
Thank you.
"Shouldn't it be without 'the'? Normally, yes, but it is possible there was something before or after that justified "the". Ann225 2) I know that something can be funny to someone.
