"Write" or "How do you write?"

Hello everyone. in a written exam if a teacher wants to ask his students to say something in Persian. Which structure is correct to be used?

For example if "Where are you?" = "??? ??? ??????"
Then the teacher is better to ask .....

1. Write "Where are you?" in Persian.
or
2. How do you write "Where are you?" in Persian?

Not really. But according to your answer and Valerie's answer I just guessed maybe 1 is better.

Yes. But in an exam context, would any of your students misunderstand your meaning and answer 'with a pen'?
