It is true that the overall influence of news media has substantially increased these days. However, many people today have the tendency of making use of news media. In my opinionm the outbreak of news industry development has a beneficial effect on humans rather than a destructive one.

This first effect is that the press greatly helps broaden the general knowledge. For example, broadcast media and online media are increasingly approaching people from all walks of life with a wide range of social and informative channels. So, the mass production of news media gets so much sponsorship that it even offers free flyers and newspapers when it comes to raising the public health awareness which makes it positively accessible even to the poorest classes.

Another effect no less important is that news industry is attributed to convenient entertainment. For instance, there is humorous content readily found on the net such as jokes, memes or trendy videos, which takes an enormous part in human joy.
