Nowadays, many people use the Internet too much a day. They use it on Facebook, TikTok, Youtube,… to search information there, can approach many stories rapidly but some stories are not true and unverified. No one knows it so these stories are sent to many people they know and become rumors. So, what’s the result of this?

I believe that it’s not good because just having a small story can become a huge story with many issues was took place. In the process rumors are spread, each person will talk in a way, changes and evolves them. If my parents, they just have could spread by word of mouth, now we can spread them by Internet faster and further because all of the people also use the Internet. It’s the reason why a small story can develop quickly.

In addition, many absurd stories appeared. Someone on Facebook updates the information that around his house has a patient Covid-19 and doesn’t have any food, they’re very poor. Therefore, he updates this with the desire can help their family by calling many people to donate them to his bank account number. Many people believe that and donate to them but this information is not right and he is a scammer. This’s a type of rumor and brings bad results when many humans lose their money for a cheater.

In another case, some people became bad guys even they didn’t do anything. There are more and more rumors about some restaurants that their food is not clean and made by dead animals, dirty vegetables or have flies, cockroach in meals. This news is updated on the Internet and makes this restaurant bankrupt by this information but it’s wrong, sometimes these are rumors from competitors. But many people on the Internet do not care and believe these rumors. Then, they have bad words that aim to make it break out by boycott. This is really terrible.

Human nature like sensational or bad news to feel themselves have distance from each person so the bad information was spread rapidly and don’t need to be verification. I think these are trash Internet and we need to delete them as soon as possible. If we can’t do it, many people will become victims or maybe you and I also become protagonists of other rumors on the Internet.
