Write about your favourite place

Throughout your life, you will set foot on a lot of places. I am not the exception. Of all the places I have been to and even the ones that I will probably visit for the rest of my life, I apparently love my home the most.

What I love most about my home is the people inside. We have been living together for about 17 years, turning 18 soon on my next birthday, which also means there is not much time left for me to with them. Later on, I will move to another city to go to the University that I apply for, build a career, and get married subsequently. There is no one else that can cook better than my mother and no one else that treats me the same way as my naughty brother do. Nowhere else can I find a greater family than mine.

The second reason is more of my character. Being quite an introvert, I enjoy staying at home and can never get bored of that. Everything in my house appears to be so close to me, including the smell of things such as foods, clothes and even that of the rains coming in summer. I love to see my mother cooking. I love to take care of our little garden. And I love to be home after such a long day. Only being at home can give me such feelings of love and peace.

Eventually, “It is not about how big the house is, it is how happy the home is”, and I love my home indeed, now and always.
