It is a controversial topic that children should be thought at home rather than go to school. For me, these methods both develop students, no matter where they learn.
On the one hand, It is essential for pupils to learn at home. At first, It helps students much more concentrate on the lessons, instead of talking with their friends during the lectures at school. For examples, my cousin, Jack, said that he could only focus and understand the lessons thoroughly when he studied at home as nothing can distract him. Besides, parents can find their offspring's weaknesses through the lessons and help them improve. However, the school's teachers do not have enough time to take care of each student.
On the other hand, children need to go to school. Firstly, It is not only built knowledge but also social skills. This meant that they can enjoy their school life like their friends. Playing sports, participating in clubs, making new friends, to name but a few. Furthermore, It poses an impression on them to study more. When seeing their peers encompass them. Students will try their best shot to keep up with. For example, Queen university has pointed out that around 67% of students studied hard as they had fear of being failed behind their friends.
To conclude, though I agree that it is more important for children to study at home because it boosts their concentration and drawbacks, I think going to school is also necessary as it develops kid's social skills and competition.
