Write about Halloween

If you mention one of the most mystical festival, it will be impossible not to mention Halloween. Halloween is one of the best festival for some people but it can also scary and for others. Halloween also has another name, All Hallow's Eve. It is a popular festival in European countries, especially in the United States.

First of all,we will talk about the origin of Halloween. Halloween comes from the ancient Celtic festival Samhain. It is celebrated on October,31st because the Celt people believe that it was the time for spirits who haven't moved on to come back again in order to haunt the lives of the living.

Secondly, Halloween has a very profound meanings. Halloween is associated with a legend of the Ailen people which tell about Jack. This legend is intended to teach people and people must be tolerant, help others and they shouldn't be scrimp,greedy and stingily. In the Halloween,people remember the saints,martyrs and good people who died.

Finally, there are a number of exciting activities in All Hallow's Eve. On this day, people will dress up in many different costumes like characters in horror movies,ghosts,skeletons,witches. Some families stay at home and watch horror films. The others carve the pumpkins and tell some scary stories together. But the most common activity is "Trick or treat",which is a game especially for the kids. The kids will go door to door knocking on people's doors in their neighbourhood. Hence, people prepare a lot of candies and sweets for children. In addition, children knock on doors and say "Trick or treat". When the kids get a candy or a sweet,they leave with happy emotions. On the other hand,if they don't get a good treat,they may show some tricks.

In conclusion, Halloween is becoming popular,not only in European countries but also in all countries. For this point,it is claimed that Halloween is going to become a festival which people look forward to most.
