I saw in a book which said:
Write a paragraph about you.
Why it didn't said: Write a paragraph about yourself ?

But the book is "Headway" and I think it's international.
Headway >> Pre-Intermediate >> P8, Practice, No 3.

Is it possible that the sentence is incorrect!?

It's sometimes said in colloquial English, for a kind of emphasis.

eg Write a paragraph about YOU.

Have the Headway students studied reflexive pronouns by the time they reach that part of the book?
