WRITE A PARAGRAPH ABOUT RECENT CHANGES IN YOUR COUNTRY’S CLIMATE

With the unusual increase in the overall temperature of the Earth, there are a lot of changes in Vietnam’s climate in recent years. Firstly, average temperatures in the entire country increase significantly. According to report in 2019, the summer lasts longer and average temperature in the summer months tend to be higher 0.5 °C to 1.0 °C when comparing to the previous years.Secondly, the rainfall in dry and wet seasons has been risen substantially for the past three years. Therefore, the floods occur more frequently in many districts in Ho Chi Minh city and other Southern city. It also helps diseases spread, especially dengue fever. Finally, the number of typhoons has been increased and the scope of damage has expanded. For example, typhoon Damrey which was the strongest typhoon hit central Vietnam and killed more than 100 people in 2017. It also destroyed thousand of the houses and infrastructures. As we can see, Vietnam’s climate has a great number of changes in the recent years, so we should find solutions to reduce climate change in our country.
