Letter Writing

Write a letter, explaining why you were disappointed and suggesting what could be done to improve the situation.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am a regular at your Ablica Street restaurant for dinner. I am writing to express my disappointment with your restaurant’s current standards. My family and I went to your restaurant last Saturday to celebrate my mother's birthday. Regrettably, a night that was supposed to be memorable turned out to be a frustrating one. We all wanted to order right away, but the menu was 15 minutes late. Afterward, we had to wait over an hour for our first dish. You may imagine our dissatisfaction when we found the beef stew was inedible. It was cold and appeared that your chef did not stir it well during the cooking. Further, the spicy Thai chicken was undercooked and tasted like frozen store-bought items. We enquired about the reasons with a waiter, who offered no plausible excuse. I am hoping you will give this problem your prompt attention. You should issue a show-cause notice to your restaurant's supervisor. Also, please urge your employees to keep a reasonable amount of buffer stock for each item in case they run out. As a result, you will not offend any customers. If this is going to be the case in the future, I will have to consider another place for family gatherings. I am looking forward to seeing you start prompt action to solve the problem. Best regards,
