Wrist sprain vs Sprained wrist

Hi

Is it correct to say, I am suffering from a wrist sprain, or should it be a sprained wrist?

They are both correct enough, but "wrist sprain" sounds a little odd because everybody says "sprained wrist". Come to think of it, everybody I know would say "I sprained my wrist."
