Wrapped up in

Hi

"I've been wrapped up in studying for hours."

Is 'wrap up' appropriate in this case or would you go for a different verb?

Thank you.

"Wrap up" is good, but it sounds a little odd with the gerund. Maybe "wrapped up in my studies".

'wrapped up in' seems OK to me. There's also 'engrossed in' and 'absorbed in'. I'd probably go for 'absorbed in'.
