Richard Houseman,the boss of a multinational corporation,got in the lift of his company's headquartes one day and was horrified to find a young man who was smoking a cigarette.Smoking had been banned in the company six months previously and the management had had "No Smoking" notices put up everywhere.Houseman couldn't believe that anybody would dare to smoke in the building,especially in a lift,which is a non-smoking area everywhere in the world.He told the man to put out the cigarette and couldn't believe it when he carried on smoking,ignoring him completely."I'm afraid I must insist on you putting that out!"said Houseman,but once more the man refused to obey.At this point,Houseman asked the man how much he earned."Oh,I will probably make about eight hundred dollars this month."came the reply.Pulling his wallet,the boss counted out eight one hundred dollar bills and gave them to the smoker."You will be needing another job.You're fired."said Houseman. "I do not want to see you here again."The young man smiled and pocketed the money."Thanks" he said,"but I do not work here.I just had a few pizzas to deliver."
