Wound up

Wound means to 'injury', and also it is the past tense of 'wind'. I know that there are two different pronunciations for the word of 'wound' in situation above. I'm confused and would like to figure out how should we pronounce the adjective word of 'wound up'....? Should we pronounce the 'wound ' of wound-up as the sound of past tense of 'wind' or the sound means to 'injury'?
