Why is "B. wound" correct? Is it because "We wound somebody with a gun."? Why not "A.injure"? Many thanks.

'Wound' normally refers to weapons or potential weapons, while 'injure' is not so specific. 'Injure' is possible in your sentence, but 'wound' is expected.
