Would/Would have

Dear all,

I am not a native speaker. The other day in our English class the teacher told me that the following sentences have the same meaning, she added that one of her friend who is a teacher in English told her so. But I cannot agree with that as both belongs to 2nd and 3rd conditionals. Kindly enlighten me.

1.If I lived near the academy, I would learn violin.

2.If I had lived near the academy, I would have learner violin.

2. If I had lived near the academy, I would have learned violin.

No, these do not mean the same thing. (1) is talking about what you would do now or in the future, while (2) is talking about what you would have done in the past.
