Hello teachers,
A: You would've thought he would've finished the project by now but he still hasn't finished the project yet.
B: You would've thought by now that he would've finished the project but he still hasn't finished the project yet.
C: You would've thought he would help me with the project but he didn't.
D: I would've thought he would've finished the project by now but he still hasn't finished the project yet.
Could you please the check the sentences above? Do they need correction? Some say "would've thought" goes with "would've finished" not "would finish". Can anybody help me the correct sentence structure?
