Wouldn't vs won't ?

Could anyone tell whether this sentence is idiomatically and grammatically correct

1. It's very important for me to see a happy ending in movies otherwise I wouldn't be able to sleep well.

This is a hypothetical one right?

2.It's very important for me to see a happy ending in movies otherwise I won't be able to sleep well.

Thanks
