Would you suggest the addition of a comma?

Do you think I should put a comma after "punctuated"?

"I had to ensure that each article was properly formatted and punctuated and that all the content was factually accurate."

Would that just be to improve readability due to the amount of "and"s? I always get confused with adding commas to compound predicates as the general rule is not to, but sometimes it just feels right.

I'd say yes. Also, this helps prevent possible confusion on the part of the reader.
