Would you show me about it?

This is the lines of 'shrek' , movie.
-----------------------------------------------------
-Well, James, it's a far cry from the farm,
but ¹what choice do we have?
- It's not home, but ²It'll do just fine.
-³What a lovely bed.
-4Got you.
---------------------------------------------------

If I replace that phrase,"Got you" as "took you"
I think that won't work.
then I am curious what "took you" means.
I knew "took you" means "grab you" or " go to somewhere with together.
Would you show me about it?

Jim, I think he's asking about "Got you," which he thinks means "took you."

"Got you" can mean either "I understand you" or "I tricked you," but I don't really see how either of those work in this context.

Me neither. I guess you had to be there (watching the movie).
